June 20th Hay Weather Outlook

Observations

Drier conditions have been in place for a good part of this previous few days, and apart of some scattered showers, rainfall has been on the lower end. Warm to hot temperatures have created a risk for some moisture overnight, but shouldn't be much of an issue.

Friday and Saturday:

Temperatures up towards 90 will allow of easy drying of hay, and minimal rain chances will allow for the best hay weather so far over the last couple of months. These are showing a 10/10 on the Hay Weather Index, so as the saying goes make hay as the sun shines.

Sunday and Monday:

These days are still okay, however, the Hay Weather Index values are being impacted by the potential for some scattered showers on Monday and Tuesday. While this might or might not happen, it is something to keep an eye on, but at this point, cutting on Friday and Saturday are the much better days to cut hay.

WoolawayWx's Recommendation: Friday and Saturday should be good days to cut hay and get good results. Rain chances will start to increase quality risk for Sunday and Monday.
